Why late tips can miss the automatic sync, and the one quick step that makes payout figures complete.
The desktop sync app collects income automatically, but there is one moment when it is worth a manual check: right before you calculate payouts.
Why the automatic sync can miss the last tips
Members often tip in the final minutes of a broadcast — sometimes right as it ends. The app reads the platform on a schedule, so tips that arrive after its last pass of the day are not in BeMetrix yet. Nothing is lost: they are simply waiting for the next sync.
If you calculate payouts at that moment, the creator's total can come out slightly lower than what the platform shows.
What to do before every payout calculation
- Open the Bemetrix Desktop app on your computer.
- Make sure you are signed in to the platforms in Google Chrome.
- Run a sync for the whole payout period, including the last day.
- Wait until it finishes, then calculate payouts in BeMetrix as usual.
It takes a couple of minutes and guarantees the figures match the platforms.
Will this create duplicates?
No. Syncing the same period again updates the records that already exist and adds only what was missing. See common errors and fixes if something looks doubled.
Quick check
Compare the creator's total for the last day with the platform's own statistics. If they match, you are ready to pay out.
