Installing the Bemetrix Desktop Sync App
Requirements, installation, linking the app to your workspace and running your first sync.
The Bemetrix Desktop Sync App is a small Windows program that collects statistics from platforms that have no public API, using the sessions you are already logged into in Google Chrome. Nothing leaves your machine except the statistics your workspace needs.
Requirements
- Windows (10 or 11).
- Google Chrome installed and signed in to the platform accounts you want to sync.
- An active BeMetrix workspace and a user account with permission to link devices.
There is no macOS or Linux build. On those systems use native integrations or CSV import.
Installing
- Download the installer from the Integrations area of your workspace.
- Run it. Windows SmartScreen may show a blue "Windows protected your PC" warning because the installer is not yet widely distributed — click More info → Run anyway.
- Finish the installer and launch the app.
Linking the app to your account
- In BeMetrix open Integrations → Desktop sync and generate a linking code.
- Type or paste the code into the app and confirm.
- The app shows your workspace name and the creator accounts available to it once the link succeeds.
A code is single-use and short-lived. If it expires, generate a new one — this is not an error.
Running a sync
Pick the creator account and the period, then start the sync. Chrome opens the pages the app needs and reads the figures from them.
Keep the app open while it works. Closing the window, letting the machine sleep or signing out of Windows interrupts the run, and a partial run has to be repeated.
Keeping it updated
The app checks for updates on launch. Always install them — platforms change their pages regularly, and an outdated build is the single most common cause of failed syncs. If something goes wrong, start with common errors and fixes.
