Adding the people who run shifts and handle day-to-day operations.
Operators vs staff
Operators typically run the floor: they manage shifts, complete them and keep the schedule accurate. Staff cover other operational duties you assign, such as finance entry. Both are studio-side roles with access wider than a creator but narrower than an admin.
Adding someone
- Open Staff or Operators → Add.
- Enter their details and email.
- Choose the role that matches what they actually do.
- Send the invite.
Access
Read roles and permissions before assigning. Operational roles can change schedules and complete shifts, which directly affects payout numbers — that is real financial authority, so grant it consciously.
Security expectations
Require two-factor authentication for anyone who can approve payouts or edit finance records.
Offboarding
Deactivate the account the same day a person leaves. Their historical actions remain in the records, which is exactly what you want for an audit trail.
