Not every team runs on fixed blocks. Free requests let a creator propose the hours they actually intend to work.
How a creator requests time
- Open My schedule.
- Choose Request a shift and set the date, start and end time.
- Add a note if the request needs context.
- Submit — the request appears in the studio's schedule as pending.
How a studio responds
Pending requests show up in the studio calendar with their own status colour. Approving turns the request into a normal planned shift; declining keeps a record with the reason, so there is no argument later about what was asked.
Solo accounts
Solo creators do not request anything from anyone — they create shifts directly with the full management interface.
Tips
- Set expectations for how far ahead requests should be submitted.
- Use notes for context ("swap with the evening block") rather than side conversations that leave no trace.
