Completing a shift

Completing a shift is what turns a plan into data. Until it is completed, a shift is an intention, not a result.

The completion form

Open the shift and choose Complete shift. The form asks for:

• Actual start and end — using the platform's own date and time pickers, so values are unambiguous across timezones.
• Earnings — the amount produced in that shift, per platform where relevant.
• Notes — anything the next person should know.

Worked hours

Hours are calculated from the real start and end, not from the planned times, and are displayed everywhere in a readable form such as "6h 30m" — never as raw decimals.

What it feeds

Completed shifts drive the dashboard tiles, per-creator statistics, splits and payout calculations. A missing completion shows up as a gap in reporting, which is why the assistant flags shifts that ended without one.

Corrections

You can reopen and correct a completed shift. The corrected values replace the old ones in reporting immediately.
